Replacement foil for Wahl Shaver Shaper/5 Stars Finale is a must. It's probably best to buy at least 2 in advance if you're new to this device. Works well on stubble, no irritation so far. My only 2 issues: 1) The foil itself is hot pressed into the inside of the plastic shell. So if you press hard while cutting there is a very good chance it will break out and as such there is no real fix for that. it is better to buy at least 2 extra slides in advance. 2) Val does not specify how to clean the slide. Even after emailing Val a couple of times, I never got a response. I have used Wahl Clipper Spray/Disinfectant/Total Care Sanitizer in the past with no problems. I also used clippercide.
