It's been 18 months and we're still going strong. This system was really set up and forgotten. My TDS is still in its teens so I don't expect to change the reverse osmosis membrane until at least the 3 year mark. I will never buy a water filtration system in a big box again! UPDATE: For the price, this system should include a tank. I added a tank and now the worlds are better. Large water pressure on request. In all honesty, for a typical home, this system is probably overkill. If that's the case, we can use a few gallons a day, but we no longer suffer from the inconveniences of a smaller system. We used to have a WHER25 system. I added a hand pump, which was awfully loud, to increase the pressure. If we filled a large pot with water, the tank was empty. We had to wait half an hour and endure loud clicking to get more fresh water. No more, we must suffer. I hope for many years of trouble-free operation. Also, iSpring has fantastic customer service. I emailed them a few questions and they immediately got great responses to make things easier. It is recommended to place the tank BEFORE the last filter in line. This system is fantastically designed and easy to install. It fits perfectly under my sink and gives me less than 10ppm TDS. My only complaint is the water pressure. For the most part, that's fine, but a reservoir would make this system ideal. I will update again after using it for a while. The first impression is impressive.
