This is my second set as the first set has seen so much use! When you've invested in beautiful wine glasses (or other crystal), you don't want to ruin them by buffing (or even drying) your wares with regular towels. Over time you will see light scratches and short term lint. These wipes are truly lint free! With these large cloths you can also gently hold and polish large Riedel glasses without leaving fingerprints. My spouse works as a bartender and takes great pride in cleaning our glassware from hard water stains etc even at home. As soon as he took the rag to work, all the other bartenders started using the rag too. The wine glasses at his work have never looked better! Minus 1 star for the price but worth it to protect your investment. I'd also like to see a darker color that doesn't smudge when removing lipstick etc, but this issue is more of a concern for commercial than personal use.
