I was shocked when I took it out of the box. It's really hard. I hope that doesn't put too much strain on the bike. He can't imagine that anyone can pick this lock easily, so I feel safer when I need to lock my new expensive electric bike. Installing a new combination is easy and please ignore the idiots who keep posting bad reviews about the lock with a bug that can be exploited with a simple screwdriver. The combination can only be reset if the current combination is set to lock. I tried it without having it installed and the reset switch didn't move. It only moves when the right combination is set. This is a 14mm lock which I bought after seeing a thief pick a 10mm lock by bending the metal. I can't imagine what it would take to bend that.
