Okay, let's talk the pros and cons of this because HOLY. Or rather, a plus and a minus. PRO: - Our cat loves them and has confused us ever since. We were in a really tight spot this month and couldn't even afford the regular $15 meal we give her (also Fancy Feast) so we gave it a shot. It was an absolute success! This is the first food she eats until she licks the bowl clean. We have never seen her so happy with this meal, especially as she is very picky. But it confused us terribly. We typically buy their 3 ounce cans and break them up into 3 servings throughout the day. She doesn't eat without sauce, so if she stops eating one portion and leaves the rest, she'll become dehydrated and she'll ask for a new glass. With that, however, she eats the whole thing, even though each serving weighs 2.8 ounces. . I don't know if there is another sauce that will make them eat more or something else but this is a hit and it will make me want to buy this product. Difficult to find the tab to properly open the case which makes it feel stiff. But they weren't wrong about anything. The glue holding the lid is too strong. This is not only protection from children, but also protection from adults. There were times I actually ripped off the tab that was supposed to open it! I've resorted to just puncturing it with a knife and cutting off the top because most of the time they can't be opened without tearing the tab, ripping off part of the top, or just ripping it off. I've never had a product like this before. So if you're reading this Fancy Feast, PLEASE release the adhesive. If a person is disabled and has problems with their hands, then if the option with a knife does not suit them, then they will never be able to feed their cat. I know you want it to be hermetically sealed, but there are better methods.
