Fantastic drinking chamber. It goes very well with my 5.11 Rush 72 which I use for 3 day hikes or shorter. It's wider than narrower bladders, meaning it stretches better and doesn't bulge onto your back or into the space of your pack. The stitching and connections are very strong, the hose has all the parts to disconnect, and the mouthpiece cover is strong and easy to find. The innovative lid on the hydration reservoir is easier to open and quicker to close while still providing an excellent seal. I also like having an extra liter of water, which is nice when you have to travel long distances between water sources. The lower height than other 3L bottles is great for backpacks that aren't as tall but wide enough to hold a wider bottle. One of the most popular features of this type of balloon is the semi-connected center seam that separates the balloon into 2 chambers. They're connected, but it really prevents sloshing like ballast chambers in a big boat. It also prevents the center of the bubble from protruding into a large cylinder.
