Works perfectly. The new firmware 3.203 supports messaging.

I am very satisfied with the Gl.iNet GL-AP1300 Cirrus. It works great and firmware updates continue to improve the router's performance. The latest May 2021 update, version 3.203, enables SIM-based cellular messaging via the device management web portal. I have no further concerns and hope Gl.iNet will release a newer version with 5G, 10000Base-T Ethernet and Wifi 6e support.
