I was pleasantly surprised that it comes with a screen protector. It wasn't what I needed but I can change either mine or my wife if someone is too scratched. It was quite difficult to fit my iPhone 8 into the case and it closes securely with a magnetic clasp. The power and volume button locations are protrusions in the plastic, not cutouts. It took several days for the plastic over the power button to relax enough for the power button to be used properly. I think it might have been a light key press and not allowed the phone to recognize the key change when pressed. When the case is open I can fold the back of the lid and it stays attached with a magnet so it's nice to call. I've dropped my phone several times and the case protected it well. It did not open on impact with the ground and has not yet shown any wear on the hull itself. This case also works great with my wireless charging stand. Haven't used the stand feature or the internal pockets but seems like you can have multiple cards in there if you like.
