Review on πŸ”§ Motive Products 0101 Round Universal Power Brake System Bleeder by Christopher Theriault

Once the seal is good, it works great!

I have been reviewing this product for several weeks. I did the old fashioned two person blood drawing procedure (which works). I've also tried using an HF pneumatic vacuum vent, which is really only good for sucking old liquid out of the tank. I was a bit nervous before using this product after reading the reviews that it was leaked. The photos posted showing the leaks also got me a little concerned. But I decided to try. I first used this on a 2015 Civic Si. I read the instructions, unplugged the bottom of my tank to make room, and installed the included 1101 cap and my RF clamps, which I highly recommend for the universal cap to close snugly. Once everything is in place, do a DRY test to about 12psi. I let it sit for a minute or two before releasing the pressure and filling the container with liquid. Once filled I simply pumped the system up to 10-12psi and followed the brake bleed sequence. I lost about 3 psi after bleeding both front calipers. All in all, this is a great system. It has some design issues like chain and hook (totally useless in my case). But with the clamps shown I was able to get a good seal with no leaks. You really only need about 8-12psi to bleed your system. 8-12 psi worked great on my civilian car and my wife's Acura MDX. If you're buying this with a universal adapter, see some of the other reviews. GET BRACKETS TOO!
