Not good. Electronics

I didn't get the HDMI extension. I can't log into any network - without a connection this thing is useless. "Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter." When I click on "View hardware and connection properties". the window is empty; no properties to display. Internet Properties Connections Click Settings. Windows did not detect any network hardware. This item comes from Amazon's warehouse. I don't think it reset correctly.
