I installed these on my commuter bike this spring and they are very good. One of the first things I did after installing these pads was to almost go over the handlebars. It was my own silly mistake for waiting too long to change my old pads but these things have grip! One of the really nice features of these brake pads (yes, I wanted to use "features" and "brake pads" in the same sentence) is the angled tip. When the pads are properly aligned, the rear lug can make light contact with the tire before the rest of the pad clears water or dirt from the braking surface to allow the rest of the pad to adhere to it. This works really well, but in my experience it requires a little extra work to align properly. If you don't, they'll squeak a lot, so it's worth the extra few minutes.
