Item was suspected defective upon delivery
The drive worked fine to write data to but could not erase data. The device has also been hard locked against reformatting or deleting the volume/partition itself. Once the data was placed on it, it could not be tampered with or erased in any way. I started my comeback with Revain. Before sending the item back, I drilled a dozen holes in an attempt to destroy it so my personal information (which I cannot erase) would never be accessed.
