I needed a tray with a lid to place the pumpkin bread slices from the pumpkin bread I made at work for my husband's Thanksgiving party. I didn't want to use aluminum foil for fear it might crush and the pumpkin bread slices would crumble when opened. These trays are amazing. Sturdy enough and the lid is high enough that I could stack the slices and still put the lid on without touching the pumpkin bread. Although my husband left the tray at work, it didn't bother me, which was another reason I chose this tray. It can be reused or thrown away, but I'm sure someone took it home. These trays are really worth the price and convenience.
