The soft close works for most, but sometimes the drawer does not close completely. Also, slides are generally extremely stiff to varying degrees. They're not easy to open and close, and they certainly don't work like other soft close slides I've purchased and installed for other apps. My expectations are to give the drawer enough push to close it up to the last few inches where the soft close kicks in, or even hold my hand on it and gently push down until the soft close kicks in . Instead, these slides require a fairly substantial and inconsistent effort to close and often find sticky spots. Just to make sure it wasn't due to an installation error, tethering etc. I just ordered a different brand pair and installed one of those to test instead. The result confirmed the unfortunate fact that I hadn't initially decided on another brand.
