Review on Black Arkon Windshield/Dashboard Mount - Designed for Most Smartphones - Retail Packaging by Antonio Curry

Sure, but not perfect insertion/removal

This is a great mount with a few flaws. The suction cup attaches securely to your windshield and the spring-loaded grip provides more than enough strength to hold your phone in place. The adjustable clips are nice because the fastening fingers don't get in the way of the power button on the top of my G2. The overall construction is a bit flexible so the phone doesn't take a hard hit on rough roads. The only thing I don't like about this mount is that the universal mounts can't be tightened so it won't slip when you put the phone in, even if you follow the instructions and try to hold the mount with your other hand. A related issue that's not as obvious: some phones (like the G2) have static grounding issues when not handheld, affecting capacitive touch. screen reaction. When the phone is secured in this holder it is isolated and at least for me the touchscreen is unresponsive when the phone is not connected to a charger. Thus, truly "wireless" operation isn't possible, so you'll need to plan your placement appropriately near a power source if your phone also has grounding issues.
