Review on Nike Unisex-Child Star Runner 2: Toddler Velcro Running Shoe for Comfort and Style by Joe Comforti

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The laces are fake, the strap is useless if you plan to change.

If you're human and have an ankle that moves when you walk, these 'shoes' won't work for you. The strap doesn't close, and since the laces are fake and don't actually tie, these shoes can't stay on your foot when you're trying to walk let alone run. If the velcro had a contact area greater than 1 inch it might hold, but on a normal sized ankle it is held in place by threads. This is the craziest design I can imagine from a world famous brand like Nike. I really don't know who these shoes were designed for. Bought it for my kid and had to send it back immediately. I tried it and thought maybe it was the size, so it was the same issue. This shoe just isn't designed for normal active use.

Pros
  • His mother said they were a good fit. Easy to put on and stays on while playing.
Cons
  • The shoes started to tear and are not of good quality, they are only a few months old but they tear slightly on the front
