These items are useless if you are trying to use them on a standard textured/painted wall. I tried hanging two different clocks in two different places. Both hours were well below the weight limit. Both hooks came loose, causing the clock to fall off the wall and break. I am very frustrated with the manufacturer's claims as they are completely false claims as to their usage/weight limits. Some watches weren't cheap either. I will never buy them again! ****UPDATE**** Well, the label on the box was hard to see in the picture online and I didn't notice the decimal point before the 5. So since the capacity is only 1/2 lb, I've exceeded the weight limit. The bottom line is they probably work great for small things like keys and hats, but won't hold anything else. I wish they had put a shot on the package instead of £0.5. There would be less confusion. I would never have bought them if I had noticed that.
