Great for hot tubs, yes, hot tubs!
We dumped 2 of these in our hot tub when a sudsy film of body oils and sunscreen residue formed. Turned from cloudy to crystal clear within a day or two. We put them in a large pool filter bag, but maybe we could use them individually. They don't break like some of the foam pads we've used in the past.
Pros
- Bright white color makes absorbed oil more visible; alerts you to machine leaks and clearly shows saturation levels while cleaning up spills
