my one cat loves to hang out under my desk while i work (i work at home) and i wanted to try a small bed in a place where he likes it more comfortable so I could remember it was there and not accidentally kick it! Both of my cats seem to love this bed and my desk mate spends most of the workday snuggled in it. I find many cat beds to look cheap and tacky, but this one is really cute. It's super soft, both inside and out. If you have a very large cat, you may want to find a larger bed. My largest cat is 15 pounds, not fat at all. If he hadn't been leaning against the wall, he might have knocked it over as he tried to get comfortable.
