About a year ago my daughter got an American Girl doll and didn't play with it very much. After some thought, I decided to replenish my wardrobe. I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of the quality and fit of this garment, but I was pleasantly surprised. When my daughter opened the package she was surprised and overjoyed. It was a gift purchase so I didn't ask her if she liked the outfits beforehand. She pulled out each item and identified 7 out of 10 items as they looked a lot like clothes that belonged to her. She was so smitten with the colors and designs of everything as if they were meant for her. All items were exactly as pictured. She immediately went to her AG doll. When she started trying on the first dress I was anxiously hoping it would fit and the dresses wouldn't rip or shrink. In the end, every item fit perfectly. After trying them on, she quickly selected a few favorites and got Isabella ready for bed in her new mermaid nightgown and robe, just like my daughter's. That same evening she hung the rest of her things in her closet. She's been dressing up for the past few nights and I think I'm also starting to understand how much fun it is to play with dolls for my daughter. I went from a good father to a hero father overnight. Highly recommended.
