Probably fits shoes, but don't think of soles
This may fit in shoes but doesn't hold anything in the 3-5 pound range that I bought it for. I can use it on items under a pound and that seems to be the max before it starts to bend/curl. If you want this for a lightweight shoe I'm sure it will work just fine, but don't get creative.
