Review on PrimeShield Heavy Waterproof V Hull Runabouts by Greg Muiznieks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as advertised: boating and sailing

This is my replacement from my first purchase. First purchase, the case did not include straps. With the excellent help of Revain customer service, Revain refunded my money and immediately sent a replacement. After inspecting the cover, I found the straps were in place. the cover is advertised as main straps sewn into the cover; That was one of the main reasons I chose this cover. On a positive note there are loops on the top of the case that you thread the strap through to keep the case from flapping while the boat is being towed (advertised as a towing case). The cover has clips on the sides to attach it to the trailer frame. So, all said and done, there are straps that go over the top/edge of the lid. There is additional reinforcement/padding on the front and rear corners. The material is well made and thick (600D). Had the top straps been sewn on as advertised (which is a great idea) I would have given it 5 stars.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
