Didn't fit.: Replacement parts

I'm sure the item is ok but it didn't fit my jeep. According to the product description, it fits a 2008 Jeep Liberty. It didn't fit my 2008 Jeep Liberty. Mine has 8 contacts. It has 6. I didn't know the number of pins before I ordered. I made my decision based on the product description.
