We bought this inverter to connect our deep battery packs in our van that we were converting for long haul trips. On the last trip we took, our inverter didn't have enough watts to power a fan and light up a roughly 48-foot coffee shop to fill our boring campsite with a '60s party vibe, but with modern LED lighting brighten up I can either use a 12 volt plug and wire that plugs into the dash and gets power from the van battery, or I can use a wire with clamps and connect it to our deep cycle marine battery racks , to power the low power fans and the radiators light threads that distinguish us from Christmas light installations. This inverter also has USB ports so we can charge our phones from the battery without worrying about the van battery dying overnight.
