This is my first digital camera. I bought it for $90 after much research and I have to say it's worth the price. I mainly use it to photograph products for my online shop and for that it gives very clear and vivid images. I find that most images require some sort of color adjustment, which can be done with the included software. The camera is very easy to use and the software is easy to install. I love the macro feature for close up shots and the powerful zoom feature is great! The LCD screen is very bright and a good size. The only complaint I have is that the camera's color reflects off the glossy surface of the subjects I'm photographing, which is my fault because I just had to have an orange model! If you photograph shiny jewelry, glass, etc., buy a silver camera. Overall I am very happy with the Canon Powershot A470. It definitely lives up to the Canon name.
