Review on Enhanced Shot Scope V2 Smart GPS Golf Watch by Lance Levatte

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Terrible battery life, readings are not accurate. TONS OF INPUT REQUIRED AFTER the round.

Battery life lasted for a full round (less than 4 hours) and died on the 3rd hole when I was playing the top 9 again. The field I play on has large tree canopies along the fairways. If you hit the edge of the fairway or in the rough next to a tree, the GPS was unable to capture the impact. Several shots fired into the open were not recorded. They say you have to do a few practice swings for the GPS to find you. Even with 4-5 practice swings and subsequent ball contact, he didn't count all the shots. The watch was low on the wrist so it was always close to the sensors. I don't choke on my clubs so I don't know why they don't register. Current smartphone apps allow you to enter the same data on the pitch as between shots to get the same stats on your club distance. Arial captures of your game are inaccurate and the interface on my phone for adding captures was terrible. The software does NOT work very well on MAC. I wasn't even allowed to enter the MAC but they took passwords from my smartphone and tablet. Range finder and phone app and you will have more accurate information about your game and distances. Gladly again.
