I have a 12.9 inch pen tablet and a Smart Folio. I love the texture of the case and you can feel the styrofoam on both sides of the case. It's spacious and I think it even fits together with the charger. I even tried to fit iPad + tomes + books. I use it to put in my bag along with my laptop and other stuff. The case really helps protect my iPad and Apple Pencil. Until I tested it by pouring. But with layers and padding I would give it a 4. Highly recommended if you plan to use/grip it as protection in your pocket and meet people.
