Perfect for my 2002 Pontiac Grand AM 2.2L Ecotec. Comes with a new gasket that comes with the gearbox. It was a bit tricky getting the old gasket out and I was afraid of crushing it trying to put the new one in, but it worked fine. If your old filter fails, use a clean rag to wipe the inside of the existing gasket, then use a flashlight to inspect it. If the rubber ring looks good, you can skip the replacement and save yourself the time of replacing a good gasket. Came with a rubber pan gasket but I bought an expensive Felpro replacement gasket with a metal insert around each bolt hole. The factory seal is reusable so you can reuse it and save money if it is not damaged.
