Review on 🎨 Discover the Ultimate Portability with the Guerrilla Painter 9 by 12 Slip-In Easel by Doris Tran

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The guerrilla box is well made but limited. The easel is useless.

I rarely write reviews but people need to know about this product. I have a guerrilla laptop box that is very good - as long as you just paint the panels, which are 1/8 inch and exactly the same size as the box. Mine can only work with 9x12. 12 inches wide. Drops less than 12 inches. This limitation seemed acceptable to me when ordering, but became an obvious problem after a few trips. So when I saw the Revain retractable easel, it seemed like the solution! It's not like this. 1) The shelf is very narrow and will only fit 1/8" thick panels. 2) This shelf is 1/8" high and a couple of inches wide - leaving no room for the brush to go down the back slide to paint that area. . This means you are dealing with a long white rectangle. 3) You can't stop the panel from slipping! It's just the force of the side lift pushing the platter left and right along the shelf because it's not holding anything at all. location instead of gravity. 4) The small holders at the top have no pressure. They are held in place by friction with the cardboard core of this thing and offer no stability at all. I used it once. then bit the bullet and ordered one of the best systems available for a little more money (when you combine the cost of that box with the Slip-In Eas el). While the Guerrilla Box itself is well made and a good product, its limitations are too great and a slide-in easel doesn't solve this problem. (And it came with a slightly crumpled corner. This doesn't detract from the usability of the product, but it speaks volumes about the quality.)
