At first I had a hateful relationship with this watch. I liked the concept and design, but many buyers regretted paying $280 for a quartz watch. I thought the mechanism was worth the price, but then found out the part was only $12. My estimate is that the material cost is less than $50 per watch and the rest is profit as they don't do any marketing. The leather strap is really hard and dry. Nothing like the band you see in your youtube videos. A little skin lotion made it better but it gets too hot when I wear it. I've attached a NATO strap to it and it feels and looks better. The glass also scratches incredibly easily. A replacement sapphire crystal costs about $30, so maybe one day I'll replace it. For $280, they had to use sapphire crystal first. I kept it in my desk drawer for a while, but recently started wearing it again. It's terrible for work when you want to be on time for appointments, but it's a great weekend watch as I really feel like time goes by more slowly when I wear it. I appreciate it for what it is, but I wouldn't buy it again. If you want this watch I would buy a $250 model with a cheaper strap and put an aftermarket strap on it. I also think Mo's dial looks better than Jo's.
