Day 1: Trust positive reviews. Read the instructions for a (simple) basic installation. Yes, you can tilt the monitor backwards to correct the default position (tilted slightly forward). Built-in speakers are basic, but just a backup option anyway. I have two 24 inch. Great deal and they came with HDMI and a power cord.
