Review on 🔧 Genuine Starter Replacement for Honda Accord 2.4L K24W1 2013-2017 & CR-V L4 2.4L K24W9 2015-2016 | 31200-5A2-A51, 31200-5A2-A52, SM-74009 by Eduardo Reyes

I have a 2014 Honda Accord EX (push button start) and bought this starter very late on August 30th. Estimated delivery was between 9/3 and 9/7. I received the item on the morning of 9/3. My starter had completely failed the day before so the fact that it arrived early was great! My mechanic friend installed it on September 6th and once installed it started right up! We actually had to run to Lowe to buy a replacement bolt as one of the bolts from my original starter motor was really rusted and cracked. The bolt was less than $3 so between the cost of this starter and the bolt I paid less than $90 for the parts. I looked at SEVERAL new replacement starters for my Honda on SEVERAL websites and after reading reviews and comparing the specs I bought this one. The installation didn't go too bad. My friend was able to replace the starter motor in my driveway. He used my front jack and blocks for the rear wheels. Of course it's always easier if it's possible to put the car on a lift, but it's not necessary; Just make sure your emergency brake is on to prevent rolling. It took about 2 hours including a 25 minute round trip to Lowe and back. If you're on the fence, go ahead and buy it! The quality was great and the price of this new starter is even better. Also, it arrived much earlier than expected! It's definitely worth it!
