I bought this for a 10 lb dog. She's only a year old and wants to deal with unnecessary barking before it becomes a big problem. It works for her. I take it before bed. After the first week I just put it on her a few times a week along with the word "stop" so I say "stop" when the collar is removed and she does a great job with the collarless verbal command. I left each option on a low setting and did NOT put my dog on until I was sure how it worked (sound, vibrate, or shock). The seller wants to provide great service to support their product, which is great but maybe a little presumptuous.
