You can struggle by without, but it's much easier with the right tools

Like most people I've used regular pliers for years to try and get the various types of hose clamps on and off, and always just suffered. I'm here to let you know that yes, it does make a difference to use the right tool. This kit includes a variety of styles of plier jaws to correctly install and remove a whole host of hose clamps styles - and it's all better and easier than without. The pliers are reasonably well made, certainly good enough for the type of occasional usage that I expect most buyers are looking for. A good addition to my toolbox!
