It was a set of two bulbs as described. One bulb worked perfectly. The light is definitely reddish, but not as bright as a comparable 23W white light bulb. For example, not bright enough to read. This is normal, no complaint. I used it for a while as a blue light blocker at night while watching tv in the bedroom, then I tried it as a bug lamp on the back door so I could open the door for a while to allow my 3 dogs in and out. That's why I ordered a set of 2. It worked pretty well for both purposes, but I can't say how long it will last yet as I've only been using it for about 3 weeks. The second bulb arrived broken. I only took off one star because the bulbs are fragile and I'm not sure if the damage was a quality control issue (weak point) or a packaging issue. Definitely I recommend this product.
