The thing cuts tiles and old joints like butter and also gets into very narrow spaces. I bought two of these to remove old glue and grout in very fine lines. to repair old tombstones if inappropriate materials were used in the old repair. I also had to cut some tiles and some old grout lines. The ride was very efficient. The lock is a bit tricky to use but once I got the hang of it it was fine.
