I love the design of this balance bike, but while it's MUCH quieter than some of my balance bikes, it's not as quiet as the Silent Runner. The base is a coated wire base that wobbles when you walk over it. Even if you glue it to the base of the cage, the wheel itself will make noise. I love the design of the treadmill (best I've seen) and some of my gerbils prefer this treadmill alone. I have a smaller one that they use ALL THE TIME so I ordered a 10" wheel but considering how often they use their wheels I really want a quieter one.
