This was a very nice quality duvet cover for my overstuffed down comforter.This one hangs down long enough on both sides and at the bottom, draping over my mattress on all three sides--many duvet cover have been too short in the past.Thread count is so high that the cover has a thick, sturdy, strong (but soft and smooth) hand/feel coming out of the package. It had a few slight folds b/c it's so think, but no wrinkles at all. We did not even wash this one first as we do new sheets.Because the Cover is made with some sateen, which eventually causes pilling due to frequent washing and sleeping in bed with it without the protection of a sheet. (Never buy cotton sateen sheets, they pill up like crazy!) It is thick, smooth and warm; almost two warm for summer, but we keep our A/C cranked so it's perfect. Colors are true to the pictures in the photo. ONE bad thing, at least for my taste. Closure uses buttons instead of zipper. It seems that all of the expensive covers seem to have buttons, that come loose and allow comforter to squeeze out of the wholes between the buttons. I like the zippered ons because they look neater and have straighter lines. Great purchase
