High output. Mounting holes are slightly offset

I bought this for my 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0L XLT V6. The *new* 130 amp model was only four dollars more than the rebuilt standard 95 amp version, so I bought the heavy duty version for potential future towing and camping gear. Additionally, a high-performance model online costs less than half the price of a high-performance refurbished model available locally. Pros: - Arrived well packaged for a large piece of metal. The bottom two mounting tabs were torn through the box but the rest was in good condition.- Configuration/shape is exactly the same as the original 21 year old alternator I replaced.- Includes new positive wire stud nut. - 6 groove pulley is exactly the same as OEM. - The output voltage of the device is 14.4 V at the battery during the test. Cons: - 3 mounting holes are slightly offset so when installing it was a little tricky to align and the screws came out. tighter than they should be. - The new pulley comes out 1 or 2mm further than the original pulley so the belt will meet the next idler pulley in a slightly different spot and cause some squeaking until it wears out. DB - Electrical customer service was fantastic and friendly. I thought the first alternator they sent me had bad bearings because it was vibrating and making noise. The seller sent me a second generator free of charge. It turned out to be my fault: I had a worn out idler pulley and belt tensioner. I will work with the company to pay for the second generator and return the first to them.
