Review on Made By Johnny MBJ Womens Military Anorak Safari Hoodie Jacket by Rachel Massine

I love this jacket in my review

I love this jacket. I bought another brand from a different online store hat looked very similar that was too small, and I didn't like how thin the material was. so I returned it and looked for a better option. It was made of t-shirt thickness cotton. I decided to give this one a try in a larger size because it was lined. I thought it would be thicker. This material is just right. It's not super thick (it's not a warm winter coat for sure), but it's just the right thickness for an early fall jacket. Think of a hoodie or a windbreaker (it's not the same material as a hoodie or a windbreaker, but about the same warmth level). The lining is really nice and I love the hood detaches, because I don't always like the silhouette of a hood, but it's nice when you're outside in the wind.I just got it today so I'm not sure how it will hold up (I'm good at following up on reviews), but so far I really like it. I went through dozens of descriptions for similar coats between buying this one and the first one and this one is a little pricier than some, but I think it was a bargain. It really was exactly what I wanted. The buttons and snaps seem to be sewed well. I didn't see any flaws.Do size up though, it seems like these tend to run small. I usually wear a medium, but I got an XL for this (but I wanted it a little baggy to be able to accommodate winter clothes).

Pros
  • The anorak style adds a unique touch to any outfit
Cons
  • The jacket lacks insulation, making it ineffective for colder temperatures
