Love it - looks a lot cleaner than a 1980's coiled cord running down the dash. Welding, polarity check, fastener assembly, cleaning. As some may have pointed out before, the cord is barely long enough for someone like me who needs to hook up to seat belts tucked above the headlights. One minus: the metal clip that secures my Uniden R3 is too wide. Now it's harder to turn on and off. Tips: - Use electrical tape to protect the connection between plug and socket. - Always check polarity with a meter when doing this type of work.
