Review on Ball-Mounted X-Grip 📱 Phone Holder by RAM MOUNTS by Dana Schmidt

I heard and read so many good things about this mount that I decided to try it because my old one broke. I knew what to expect from this mount BUT almost no one mentions its biggest annoying design flaw. I put what I mean in my video. When you clasp your hands and insert your phone, there's obviously a spot between your hands where they usually stop when not holding anything. Well, in this space, your phone can rotate left and right. When I placed my phone in the holder I was happy until I lightly touched both sides of the phone and tipped it from side to side. LIKE ANYONE DON'T WORRY! My old car mount was magnetic so I took it apart and used the front rubber piece and the magnets and then glued it to the RAM mount as a fix (see picture). Now it won't rotate left to right unless I hit a big bump. Had I known that, I probably would have chosen a different mount considering how expensive it is.
