It worked!
The cat bait worked! I sprayed once and the cat made no further attempts to scratch that chair. Although it works great I have to be careful when using the product again as the chair is in our bedroom and the smell of the spray is a bit strong for evening use. However, if our cat continues to leave the faeces alone, the smell of the spray does not bother us. Thanks for the question and thanks for the good service and useful product.
