Great if you like crappy rigs

They suck when cold for some reason very very soft but brittle and also the plastic parts rarely true up so they often fail

Pros
  • Insulated metal stays
Cons
  • Some cons

This is the real product

This is what the electrical inspector wants, so the electrical inspector gets this. Use these on all 12 and 14 gauge Romex wires and you'll be a happy camper. I don't know why they don't accept other types of braces, but they won't: that's the correct point.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Metal Electrical Brackets

I have used these brackets on installed panels. The skin created a spring-like state when hammered in place along an electric wire. Because of this condition, I have not had a positive experience with this staple. Schitrock would probably be cheaper. Also, the blue plastic wire protector wasn't always oriented the way it was supposed to protect the wire.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very Expensive
