Extra long legs, cuffs that can easily be pulled over if required, concealed elastic waistband with drawstring, pockets on each thigh, partially lined with cotton. I was surprised to see that the label said hand wash! I'm going to machine wash it once with delicate cold water to see how it performs. Hand washing is the only thing stopping me from giving 5* at the moment
