good for pi and everything, really hub with 7 ports

This one works on everything and has 7 ports on a hub ie. a chip. If you look at the tree, all 7 ports come out of this one device. Most 7-port USB hubs are actually two 4-port hubs with one port of the first connected to the second, which increases latency and limits the number of ports. Hubs - and the 4 ports that go through 2 hubs versus the 3 that go through 1 are unlabeled. It's well made and works well. It also has an external power supply that you can use if your peripherals draw a lot of power.
