A good choice for car detailing

Bought MC1375 for car detailing. In the last 9 months it has accumulated almost 100 hours and has become a favorite instrument. I have not used it for any purpose other than detailing, so the comments below are based solely on that usage. Pros - Heats up quickly, typically less than 10 minutes, even when filled with ice water. Holds the pressure well even after long-term use. Ideal for sticky coasters, chewing gum, melted candy, tight nooks and crannies, carpets, cloth and especially leather seats. On most vehicles, the hose is long enough to position the machine on one side and allow easy access to the other side without moving the machine. One tank is usually enough for the finish, but in particularly dirty salons it may be necessary to refuel. If you are careful and open slowly, you can remove the gas cap and refill even when the car is hot. I'm sure this is warned in the instructions, but if you use a little common sense it can be easily done. Cons - it's a bit too weak. More pressure would be helpful when working on harder surfaces. It hangs up a bit on vents, oily seatposts, etc. The hose doesn't seem strong enough to withstand heavy use. Detailing interiors not only requires bending and flexing your body, but also a handheld steamer to get into all those hard-to-reach places. This puts a lot of pressure on the flexing and twisting of the hose. After 6-7 months of operation, the outer protective hose just behind the handle failed. A few weeks later it failed again at the point where the hose enters the boiler. After contacting the company to purchase a new replacement hose, they informed me that they would replace the entire machine free of charge. After sending them the required photo, I had a new unit on my doorstep just 2 days later. I was blown away by McCulloch's responsiveness. Overall, the MC1375 remains one of my favorite tools for detailing and I would not hesitate to purchase again.
