The product was used as a network bridge from a home router to another router configured as an access point in a metal building about 250m away. "H" and some numbers or "C" and some numbers on the LED display. Think of H as a host connecting to your router. Think of C as a client located at a remote site. The first test takes place in the room where your router is located. A laptop or desktop computer can connect to a "LAN" connection in C or wirelessly (password 66666666) via cat5. You can connect wirelessly to either H or C, but try 5th grade from C to your computer. After checking connectivity and data transfer, I placed my H-Box in the window facing the metal extension and my C-Box is in the false ceiling. the appendix nearest to where H points. Metal wasn't a problem at this distance. There are also two big trees between them. I got 75% speed in the outbuilding that I got when connected directly to the router. I'm sure it would be even better if I used external mounts with additional adjustment. For $60 they just can't get any better, but don't overdo it. They really are plug and play. The key is to figure out which is H and which is C on the LED display. is working.
