Review on 📚 LapDesk Schoolhouse Wood LapDesk: Enhanced with Storage for Optimal Organization (45075) by Carl Higdem

Product looks very good and is really useful. It just arrived and I'm already using it. The plush base makes it very comfortable to use. This is a very nice wide finish and the interior is roomy and wide. In general I like it very much. There are a couple of downsides though: The wood comes loose on the side where the lever that holds it in the open position is because it's very stiff. I tried applying some oil but it's still very hard and I was afraid it would ruin the wood top and come loose. Also, after opening and closing multiple times, the hinge on the side where the lever is located (yes, it's that heavy) came loose, weakening the hinge. I was so sad about it but I got over it. So, as one Amazon customer said, I pulled the lever off and just left it in (2nd pic). Also, the plush pillow smells like rubber glue for some reason, I don't know why, but hopefully it will go away in a few days.
