Review on CIPA 70120 Extendable Replacement Silverado by Alejandro Anaya

I've been wearing this mirror for almost 18 months now. When I first installed it, I adjusted it using the controls on the driver's door and no matter which way I tried to move it, the mirror moved down and in! The same happens when adjusting the driver's side mirror (OEM mirror). Adjust the driver's side and the passenger mirror will fold down and fold! I think there must be a short somewhere for the tester to come out. Cable good for trucks and mirrors ohmed?!? Tried a new switch (just in case) and same problem. So I didn't get it. Now that it needs adjusting, the woman rolls down the window. It has been disabled for 18 months. Driver side works perfectly! 1.5 year update: I got tired of manually adjusting so I removed the mirror and ripped it apart. I found a pinched wire shorted to a metal plate/bracket. I routed the wire correctly, repaired the insulation and now both mirrors work correctly in all directions. Another 2 stars because this took so long to put up with and it was clearly a manufacturing defect.
